I'm not THE Hazy Davy...

Killer Joe and Hazy Davy Yes, so... I'm not THE Hazy Davy, but I did sit up and take notice when I saw my name within the lyrics of Bruce Springsteen's "Spirit in the Night". I had been listening to Mr Springsteen for a few years, but not in any depth, enjoying the music and melodies rather than the lyrics. I've always listened to music that way. One Sunday lunchtime I loaded up CD1 of "Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Live/78-85" and subconsciously listened via a set of second hand Mission speakers, while reading the Sunday paper. I had forgotten how good this set of live tracks is and, notably, how good the live recordings are of the 70's tracks. I put down the newspaper and started reading the lyric book that came with this live triple CD set. Well there they were, alongside the cool characters of Crazy Janey, Wild Billy and G-Man, who was "all duded up for Saturday night", were Hazy Davy and Killer Joe. These two
